d-party: An Extension for Simultaneous Viewing on dアニメストア
d-party is a third-party application that provides a room function for simultaneous viewing among users of dアニメストア. Inspired by features like Watch Party on platforms like Amazon Prime and Hulu, d-party allows friends and family to watch together regardless of distance, as long as they have an internet connection. Similar experiences can be achieved on Netflix and Disney+ with extensions like Teleparty.
With d-party, users can enjoy the same party feature on dアニメストア. This extension aims to bring people together during the pandemic, allowing them to fully enjoy their anime life with friends and online acquaintances.
The project is developed as an open-source initiative. Future developments are planned based on user feedback and the milestone of expanding support to dTV. Users are encouraged to contribute to the project by providing bug reports, feature requests, and contributions through the link provided on the GitHub page.
